Why do you cover yourself from the falling clouds?
Why do you seek shelter and look up as if to curse at the skies?
Why do you jump over the rain puddles?
When you run from rain drops it is like running from feeling.
When you cover yourself from the falling wet clouds you miss out on natures gifts.
When you seek shelter and curse the skies you are angry at the wrong thing.
When you jump over the rain puddles you lose the joy of play.
If I didn't know the rain as I do
I would not have as much feeling for life.
If I didn't know the rain as I do
I would have missed out on how the air changes, how rain drops look on leaves and how the sun shines radiate around each cloud.
If I didn't know the rain as I do
I would be angry at it for ruining my perfect day, when indeed rain has made it better.
If I didn't know the rain as I do
I would not have heard the giggles, seen the smiles and felt the kisses in it.
If I didn't know the rain as I do
I just wouldn't know much of anything at all
